Healing & Growth Start Here

About Me - Anne Mangan, AMFT, APCC

I provide Compassionate, trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy for adults and teens navigating addiction, Trauma, Depression, and anxiety.

I believe meaningful healing happens within the context of a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship.

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable. I offer a warm, collaborative approach grounded in the belief that healing begins when you feel safe enough to explore your experiences honestly. My aim is to create a space where you feel accepted as you are, supported through life's challenges, and empowered to connect with your strengths and capacity for growth.

My work is trauma-informed and strengths-based, integrating principles from psychodynamic and existential theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), parts work, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Using these modalities, we are able to explore not only your current challenges, but also the deeper patterns, past experiences, and beliefs that may be contributing to them.

I work with teens and adults from diverse backgrounds and identities, providing culturally humble, affirming care that honors each person’s unique lived experience.

Therapy For Addiction

You may feel trapped in patterns that no longer serve you, whether that's substance use, alcohol, or other behaviors used to cope with pain, stress, or difficult emotions. Together, we'll explore what's driving your addiction, strengthen healthier coping strategies, and help you build a life that feels more connected, meaningful, and aligned with your values.

I have 2 years of experience as a therapist in residential treatment for adults struggling with addiction. Whether you are just starting your recovery journey, have years of sobriety, are “sober curious”, or are wanting to take a harm reduction approach to your use, I am here to help.

Therapy For Trauma

Trauma can leave lasting impacts on how you see yourself, relate to others, and move about the world. You may find yourself feeling anxious, disconnected, hypervigilant, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns that once helped you survive. I provide a safe, supportive space to process difficult experiences, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward greater healing and self-trust.

Therapy For Depression

Depression can make even simple tasks feel overwhelming and leave you feeling disconnected from yourself, others, and the things you once enjoyed. Whether you're experiencing sadness, hopelessness, low motivation, self-criticism, or emotional numbness, we can work together to help you better understand what you're carrying, practice self-compassion, and begin moving toward a life that feels more fulfilling and hopeful.

Therapy for Anxiety

When anxiety takes over, it can feel exhausting to constantly worry, overthink, or anticipate the worst. You may struggle to slow your mind, feel present, or trust yourself. Together, we'll work to understand the roots of your anxiety, develop effective coping tools, and create a greater sense of calm, confidence, and balance in your daily life.
